Have Fun Gift Bags

Hi everyone! It’s Cheryl here on the blog today with this super easy project using the stunning „Have Fun” collection. 

As someone who sends out a lot of happy mail and packages for my friends from all over the world I always need packaging. I enjoy giving gifts and beautiful packaging is always super important to me. My favourite colours are soft pinks and lilacs and when I saw the beautiful patterned papers and floral embellishments of this collection I knew I had to create some sort of gift bags! 

The gift bags measure 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Inches and are perfect for little surprises. I’m really into jewellery making, so I think I’ll use these to gift some handmade friendship bracelets to my friends! 

I have created an embellishment cluster on both bags using a label as my base, followed by chipboard stickers, light chipboard floral pieces from the collection, which I have spray painted in a soft pink colour and gold metallic thread. I love adding different textures to clusters, because it always adds such a great element of variety. It makes it look interesting and unique! 

I finished both clusters with a chipboard phrase sticker and sprinkled a couple of liquid clear enamel dots around the bag. Did I mention I machine stitched the entire front of the bag with light pink thread? I just love adding as much texture as I can.
