Hi there! It is a pleasure to show you my third Guest DT inspiration for P13. This time I made a card using layers of paper and embellishments. Working on this project, I combined paper sheets from two P13 collections. You may see here the Sea La Vie 02 on my base with the Precious 07 on the second layer. I am in love with the combination of the light gray and blue and use it quite a lot, so it was really staying in a comfort zone for me. Well, sometimes it is good not to weasel too much, don’t you think?
The main composition was built with resin embellishments (branches and frame) and paper elements fussy cut from the Sea La Vie 01 sheet. I put some cheesecloth bits and istle between the layers just to have some interest here and to hide empty spaces. On the top you may see three textile flowers with a few die-cut leaves. Those leaves were also cut from the Sea La Vie and Precious sheets so that they match perfectly to the whole. As a finishing touches, I chose to put some resin stars here and there and make blue and white splatters. Then I thought I should have some simple and versatile sentiment too, so I did some searching in my stash and found the perfect one on the Christmas Charm chipboard stickers sheet.
I did not put a lot of stuff on my project, but it still looks plentiful and made my card a bit bulky. This card definitely needs nice and sturdy box to put into. I have already some idea where to look for it…
