Hello, my darlings! Today I want to show you an unusual postcard inspired by collection „Birdhouse” from P13.
I wanted to make a postcard in the shape of a bird cage, but didn’t want to do something flat at all. I thought for a long time and figured out how to combine a postcard with a bird cage. I created the base of the bird cage from air clay, after that I made the bottom of the cage out of paper and attached the cage structure to the base of the postcard. The process is not complicated, but the result is interesting. In my work I used paper, stickers and ephemera from the collection „Birdhouse”. I also added lace, beads, sequins and a silk bow to the work. The postcard turned out to be voluminous, interesting, delicate and very beautiful.
I hope I have inspired you to experiment. Don’t be afraid and try something new in your projects. I wish you all a lot of inspiration and interesting projects.
