Are you always looking for more creative ways to document your photos? Today I’m showing you how I created these fun and easy memorydex cards made with the Have Fun collection!
For the base I picked my two favourite papers from the collection, because I absolutely love pale pink and light purple and the soft colours of this collection make me so incredibly happy. The card bases measure 4 x 3 Inches and 4 x 2 1/5 Inches – although the total height varies slightly because of the embellishment clusters I have created. I layered two card bases together to make them sturdy and added light pink machine stitching around the edges for extra texture.
For my clusters on both cards I started with a chipboard frame sticker and layered lots of fussy cut flower clusters on top of the frames. Behind my fussy cut flowers I have added gold metallic thread for a little bit more detail and interest. On top of both clusters I have added a sentiment die cut from the collection, which are both very uplifting! To finish my card I have added a couple of white liquid enamel dots all over the card as well as some flowers.
The back of each card is left blank and that’s the perfect spot for small photos and journalling. You can store these in a rolodex / memorydex spinner or even in a little box! They are super fun to flip through and look at.
I hope this project inspired you to think outside the box and always find creative ways to add to your scrapbooking.
