Hi friends! It’s my turn on the blog again and today I’m thrilled to show you this layout I made of my brand new little niece Jazz. She is the cutest and the perfect excuse for me to scrap a little girl.
I used the beautiful „Spring is calling”collection for this layout and started off with cutting out a large heart. I backed the inner part of the heart with the beige checkered paper from the collection. I positioned the heart in the center of the page and tilted it a bit just to create a playful base for the page. After that, I fuzzy cut several flowers from the paper pad. As you know, I love to fuzzy cut an all those gorgeous flowers just need to be fuzzy cut!
I backed the photo with papers from the 6” paper pad in matching colors, the colors are so soft and pretty, perfect for spring and perfect for a baby girl! I placed the photo on the bottom of the heart, otherwise after embellishing the heart wouldn’t be visible anymore. I always play around with placement and rarely place things centered. I think it creates more interest if you place things out of center. Same as in photography, 1/3 and 2/3 of the page/photo…
I embellished all the flowers around the photo and had to use that light chipboard bow. I instantly fell in love with that bow! I used the little Grow tag because I found it a convenient one for a little baby and topped it with a small pink bow out of twine.
I hope you like it and would love to see your work in our Facebook group! See you next time!
