Hi Friends! Today it’s my turn again on the blog and I am so happy to see you again! For this layout, I used the amazing Secret Garden collection. I adore the purple and orange/brown color that is in the collection. Such bright and vibrant colors! Last summer we did a family photo shoot and this photo of me and my husband is one of my favorites from that shoot. This collection is perfect for a romantic photo.
I started with fussy cutting that top border of flowers from one of the papers. from the large paper pack. I love to fuzzy cut and the P13 collections are perfect for fussy-cutting addicts like myself. After the fuzzy cutting, I glued two of the yellow/brown papers together. I wanted to curl the paper up, and I wanted the same color on the other side. I tore the paper in a way that would match the flower border nicely. Then I taped the flower border on top of the yellow paper and curled the yellow paper. Don’t be afraid to tear it here and there, I think that just adds to the shabby-chic look!
After that, I taped it all onto the white cardstock and backed the photo with matching papers. I always distress the edges of those backing papers. I simply like that more than clean-cut edges.
I fuzzy cut some more of those gorgeous flowers from the large paper pack and let them „drip” down the photo. As a title, I used one of the words die cuts. It fits perfectly! I finished everything off with some dew drops and some small gems here and there. Just to give it some extra sparkle. Would you like to create with me?
Here is the video process for this project.
I hope I have given you some inspiration, thanks for visiting, and hope to see you next time!
