I wonder what is your attitude towards older collections? Do you have your favorite collections of papers that you keep coming back to, or does the love of novelty win and those old papers are forgotten and unused? I have a split personality in this topic and I’mm like Dr. Jackyll and Mr. Hyde – on the one hand I get spasms at the sight of new products and immediately forget about the world and, of course, I only have ideas for working with these products. On the other hand my head is like a large file of previous collections and I really like to come back to them, especially if one of them perfectly suited my tastes.
Fortunately, sometimes we don’t have to make a choice! In my newest project, I decided to combine one of the latest Lady’s diary collections with a wedding collection from a few years ago – Truly yours. For me, this is an exceptionally sentimental collection, to which I am happy to come back, because it was used to create my wedding invitations! As a result, I also have a whole pile of cutting sheets, but I would like to draw your attention to how these two collections blended together beautifully, creating a completely new version of both one and the other collection. The thing about P13 papers is that the collections really come together wonderfully and we can create endless combinations. I encourage you to experiment.
