Hello, paper crafting friends! Anya here today and I would like to share with you a project that I have been meaning to create for a while but never got a chance. When I saw the Around the Table collection I knew it was a perfect choice for this project! We as a family, use a lot of different recipes, but there are a dozen or so that we use most often, and instead of searching these recipes again and again online or in older recipe books, I wanted to have them handy in one spot.
To make this recipe notebook, I started by creating a stand from a black patterned paper from this line. Black gingham paper was a perfect little accent for the stand, which measures about 4.5” x 7” tall. Then, I trimmed a bunch of 4” x 6” white cardstock paper to hold our most used recipes and used the Cinch tool to bind all of the pages together. For the cover, I used two different papers and a large label that was trimmed from one of the 3×4” cards, which was decorated with fussy cut elements and stickers. A few enamel dots and a brad finished this project.
