Hello, creatives! Do you feel this Christmas atmosphere in the air? This time of year is magical, I love decorations, Christmas music, time spent with family … just about everything! Every year I try to remember all the magic of the holidays by creating a project a day. This time I wanted to try a different size (3×8 inches) but couldn’t find anything ready for me, so I created my album.
I used 2mm chipboard and a ring mechanism for the structure and the beautiful papers from the „Four Season-Winter” collection. Instead of the cover, I decided to decorate the Chipboard Christmas ball from the „Cosy Winter” collection. First I separated the various layers and colored the outer circle with acrylics; the central part, on the other hand, I covered with a pattern from the Winter collection. I bought an opening Christmas ball in the size of 10 cm and I used some snow paste to decorate it before gluing it to the central circle. Between the outer circle and the center, I inserted many hand-cut twigs. To give a shiny and three-dimensional touch to the die cuts and berries/flowers of the patterned I applied some glossy accent, have you ever tried it? Gives a fabulous glazed and shiny effect!
In the end, I added the corners and the label to the album (all components are by Craftelier) and the title of the album thanks to the stickers of the Winter Collection. A little red velvet ribbon and the paper bow from the collection put the finishing touches on my album. Can’t wait for December 1st to start filling it up! See you in the next post with my Christmas pages. Good creativity to you all!
