Hello creative people! A couple of weeks ago I told you here about my friends’ wedding. Today I show you the second part of the gift I have prepared for them. Together with the box with the gift I have thought of a mini album where they can write down their emotions of the day and some small photos, obviously with the help of the Always and Forever collection.
First I cut a lot of hexagons with the big shot. I used a pad of 6×6 papers and some white cardstock.
Then I decided on the binding (I chose a 3-ring mechanism), I measured the position of the holes with the help of a ruler and pencil and I prepared the cardboard for the cover (front and back).
At this point, I enjoyed decorating the covers.
On the back, I glued trimmings with pom-poms and covered the front and back with patterned paper.
On the front, I glued a pattern of the pad, superimposed vellum, and blocked with the crop a dile. Above played with the overlays with cut-out elements of the pad, light chipboard, banners, and stickers. I used elements identical to the box to create continuity.
In the end I punched and inserted the internal pages by combining the various patterns with white (where the captions will go).
.. .
A little touch of ribbon at the end and the album is ready to be filled!
..
One of the nice things about this structure is that you can insert as many pages as you like so paired with the album I have prepared a package of extra pages and embellishments that my friends can use to decorate.
What do you think? It can be a fantastic idea to prepare as a gift for guests too, don’t you think?
Kisses, Evy
