And here we are with the start of the wedding season. Although many ceremonies have been postponed due to the covid situation (here in Italy). My friends and neighbors have decided not to change their wedding date. Unfortunately, we will not be able to celebrate as planned. For this reason, I have decided to create several things to make my closeness felt on such an important day. It is also a wonderful opportunity to use this new collection (Always and forever) which has colors that adapt to all styles.
My friends’ wedding is simple and a little rustic. I combined the collection with kraft paper and lots of greenery. The project I’m showing you today is a box. Even if the deal was no gifts I couldn’t resist. A little thought but the box was really ugly! Instead of using plain gift wrapping paper. I coated the box with white bazzill, distressed the edges, and used green ink for the corners.
The lid of the box, on the other hand, I preferred to decorate it as if it were a card. Overlaps were used quite often. I mixed the light chipboards with banners, stickers, and lots of elements cut out from the Always and forever 6×6″ pad. I also punched some branches and leaves using papers from the same collection. Finally a few drops of white color. In this way, even the smallest gift becomes a special and personalized thing and the box can be reused to contain small objects/little memories of the wedding or simply as home decor in memory of such a special day. But my ideas with this collection are not finished! See you in the next post.
