There is a full winter outside my window when I write these words. But today I have an autumn inspiration for you. I created it with my all-time favorite collection, The Four Seasons: Autumn. And I warn you, this post will be full of the word 'favorite’.
Autumn is my favorite season next to winter. I love its colors, cooler temperatures, the rain outside the window, warm blankets, sweaters, socks, and hot teas. The collection has all the best things. Colorful leaves, handsome pumpkins, papers in beautiful, intense colors that I like the most. Sweaters, yarns, and forest animals.
I chose a large (6×8″) photo from my autumn family walk to document. I really like to use large prints in my travel journals. My favorite layouts are the simple ones with just a few embellishments. And this is one of them. The photo was completed with color and black and white fussy cut-out leaves (I used stamps from the collection to prepare the latter).
Simplicity makes the photo the main point of the spread. What is more, it makes it very easy to work quickly, for example when you set yourself the ambitious task of making one travel journal a month. Like me…
Now I’m saying goodbye and leave you with one of my favorite layouts. And traditionally, I invite you to my Instagram profile, where you will see my favorite collection in action more than once.
