Here Aga, Guest Designer. The December has come, so it is high time for Christmas preparations, including wrapping presents. For our relatives, we know how, but how to pack gifts for our distant relatives or friends, if we want to give them a small gifts but in a fancy wrapped?
A great idea is, for example, so called box for chocolate (and chocolate does not have to be a gift to use such packaging;)) or an exploding box. Well, you say, but where can you find the time between making dumplings and cutting cabbage for “bigos” (bigos- traditional polish Christmas dish)? Hence my today’s post for you with a proposal for so-called Christmas cards / boxes for those limited in time.
Printed papers are perfect for such an occasion. We already know that P13 is very well known for perfectly composed collections and wonderful graphics. This seasons’ Christmas collection Christmas treats has personally enchanted me by its beauty. This collection is in classic Christmas colors, from which you will be able to build many compositions and thus, for example, cards for family and friends. Well, see it for yourself, aren’t these Christmas sweaters cutest (paper No. 04) or pine cones or cups in Scandinavian style (paper No. 05)? Thus, the collection, apart from a typical page with a cutting element (paper No. 7), offers several additional, equally excellent for use in holiday compositions.
In the crafts I present today, I have used these elements, supplementing them only with a few accessories, such as sisal or a metal pendant. In addition, I have prepared a short tutorial for you to show, how quickly and easily you can create cute Christmas compositions to decorate e.g. box for chocolate (basic version) or an exploding box (upgraded version). An additional advantage is, that it does not require many tools, so you do not have to have the entire scrapbooking tools to prepare personalized cards, etc. for your loved ones.
So without any further ado, I invite you to watch the tutorial:
